Leah is a licensed clinical therapist and social worker, with 15+ years of experience working with children, youth, adults, seniors and their family and care givers through some of the difficult passages in life. Using a trauma informed, person-centered approach to interventions, Leah works with children, youth and adults in an individual setting. Leah offers a diversified background of education and training including a master’s degree in social work along with two undergraduate degrees in social work (clinical focused) and BA with focuses in sociology and psychology. Practice specific modalities include DBT, Trauma Focused CBT, EMDR, Disordered Eating Specific CBT and Narrative Therapy. With a strength focused approach to clinical practice, Leah guides clients through each phase and step in their own path towards meaningful goals and gains in their lives, centering on the individual as the expert in what they need in the time that they approach clinical supports.
