We are currently seeking licensed Psychologists and Clinical Social Workers to join our growing practice. We are located in Halifax, close to shopping malls and bus routes. Our offices are professionally designed and fully furnished, with free onsite parking for all practitioners and their clients. We have staff to handle client registration, appointment bookings, and daily office needs.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counselling or clinical Psychology and registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (Candidate Registrants are welcome to apply) OR Master’s degree in Social Work and registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers
- Minimum 2 years experience in mental health treatment working with children, adults, or couples
- Liability insurance required
Ideal candidate will possess:
- A good working knowledge of EFT, CBT or solution focused therapy models and protocols
- Thorough understanding of the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders is considered an asset
- Demonstrated experience conducting individual or group psychotherapy
- Ability to conduct mental health assessments using DSM classifications
- Basic understanding of Trauma Informed Therapy
- Awareness of local community resources, hospitals and agencies would be an asset
- Commitment to ethics and professionalism
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary mental health team
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Clear commitment to client and family centered care
- Competency in other languages an asset
