Cleve has been supporting children and their families through difficult life experiences for more than a decade. Drawing on his specialized training in play therapy and extensive experience in a pediatric hospital, Cleve assists children experiencing a variety of issues such as anxiety, grief and loss, behavioural issues, mood disorders, social difficulties, health concerns, and difficulty coping with change. He focuses on developing playful, accepting relationships with children and their parents. Cleve knows that play is how we access creativity. Because children communicate, learn, and heal through play, he uses therapeutic play as a powerful tool to help children discover their strengths and abilities, and learn new patterns of behaviour. Cleve uses play therapy to help children learn about embracing change and new ways of coping. His approach ensures the involvement of family members so that they can provide support to their child and grow together. Cleve considers it a privilege to help children and their families, and to play a role in helping them discover their own abilities to grow and heal.
