Catherine has spent the last 10 years supporting people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. With a background in Palliative Care and Bereavement, Catherine provides experienced care to those suffering with grief and loss. She has specialized training in perinatal grief and loss and is skilled in supporting those who are experiencing fertility challenges, or pregnancy related loss. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) which is effective to break through emotional blocks that are getting in the way of living a healthy adaptive life. Using additional training in solution-focused and narrative therapy she supports clients struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, life transitions, burnout, and medical challenges. Catherine believes in a client centered approach and provides compassionate care that builds on the individual’s own values and goals. She is skilled in using Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindful Self-Compassion as she works with her clients to build a treatment plan that works for them. She focuses her practice on individual care for those 19 years of age or older. Catherine has worked hard to build a non-judgmental environment and a safe space for people of diverse backgrounds and welcomes members of the LGBTQ2S+ community. She brings her own values of compassion and acceptance to her therapeutic practice.
