Catherine has spent the last 10 years supporting people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. With a client centered approach, Catherine provides compassionate care that builds on the individual’s own values and goals.
Using Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindful Self-Compassion, she works with her clients to build a treatment plan that works for them. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) which is effective to break through emotional blocks that are getting in the way of living a healthy adaptive life. With a background in Palliative Care and Bereavement, Catherine provides experienced care to those suffering with grief and loss. She has specialized training in perinatal grief and loss and is skilled in supporting those who are experiencing fertility challenges, or pregnancy related loss. Using additional training in solution-focused and narrative therapy she supports clients struggling with such things as grief, anxiety, depression, anger, life transitions, burnout, and medical challenges. Catherine focuses her practice on individual care for those 18 years of age or older. She has worked hard to build a non-judgmental environment and a safe space for people of diverse backgrounds and welcomes members of the LGBTQ2S+ community. Catherine brings her own values of compassion and acceptance to her therapeutic practice. |
