Catherine has spent the last 10 years supporting people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Using Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindful Self-Compassion, she works to build a treatment plan based on clients’ needs, specific goals and values. Catherine’s training includes Trauma-Informed Practice, Solution Focus Therapy, Narrative Therapy. She has extensive experience supporting people in grief, loss and bereavement.
She is committed to helping people struggling with anxiety and depression, including post-partum depression as well as addictions and intimate partner violence. Catherine also works with individuals experiencing life transitions and chronic illness. Her clinical practice is a person-centered approach which assists clients in recognizing their strengths and resilience. Catherine gifts a non-judgmental environment and safe space for people of diverse backgrounds and welcomes members of the LGBTQ2S+ community. She brings values of compassion and acceptance to her therapeutic practice. |
