Dr. Yue is a registered psychologist offering assessment and therapy for adults in Nova Scotia. She grew up in China and moved to the United States for her graduate studies in Counselling Psychology. After earning her doctoral degree, she moved to Canada and works as a registered psychologist.

Yue has worked in various clinical settings, including university counselling centers, community clinics, and out-patient hospitals. With a foundation of cultural humility, Yue creates safe spaces for clients to share and explore feelings. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate their emotional landscapes and find meaningful growth. She strives to form strong therapeutic relationships with her clients, fostering an environment where they can freely express themselves and delve into their personal stories. Yue empowers clients by helping them develop practical coping skills to confront life's challenges with resilience and confidence. She guides them in exploring the impact of power, privilege, and oppression on their lives. By guiding clients in this exploration, Yue encourages a deeper level of self-awareness and a greater understanding of the world around them. She utilizes a person-centered approach with a blend of various techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Brief Therapy, Relational Cultural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Compassion-focused Therapy. This eclectic mix allows her to tailor her interventions to suit the unique needs of each individual she works with.

Yue provides services in both Mandarin and English. Her clinical specialties include anxiety, depression, coping with transitions, family of origin concerns, relationship issues, identity development, stress management, multicultural/diversity issues, and cultural adjustment for international students, immigrants, and refugees.
